President Clinton Sends Letter of Life Appreciation for Carol Loiry
December 16, 2007 - Panama City, Florida. President Bill Clinton sent a letter of appreciation, which was read at today's Life Celebration for Equity International co-founder Carol Loiry. It stated:

"I was saddened to learn of Carol's death, and I extend my heartfelt sympathy to you all.

A cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Carol's nurturing instincts and warmth embraced her immediate family, but also reached generously beyond. She touched the lives of so many people throughout the world, and her presence brought respite and relief in times of trouble. Carol will long be remembered for her dynamic spirit, her perseverance, and her genuine concern for humanity. She will be deeply missed, but she leaves behind an enduring legacy of love and kindness unto others.

In this season of giving, it is so fitting to recall the many ways in which Carol gave of herself over the years. Each of our personal memories of those gifts will remain with us from year to year and bring us strength and comfort for many seasons to come. In this way, Carol will be with us always.

You are in my thoughts and prayers."

- President Bill Clinton
